Industry Retube Conceptual Study

NCL have been awarded a contract by the CANDU Owners Group (COG), to carry out an "Industry Retube Conceptual Study for Collaboration in Design Integration, Training and Retube Execution".

 

The work will focus on the CANDU industry's capability to undertake retubing of reactors that are nearing the end of their operating lives.

 

The overall objectives of the project are

  1. to collect information pertaining to the issues and operational needs relative to the anticipated refurbishment or construction of CANDU units.
  2. to summarize and evaluate the expected capacity and state of the industry towards addressing and executing these refurbishment or construction activities.
